Ohmigoodness gracious golly Jehosophat! Let me tell you about the stupidest thing Jonathan and I have done in a long time! Last night, we were reading a wonderful article on MSNBC about a man who was about to be a Daddy for the first time going through labor. When we're done with it- hilarious! - Jonathan said, “I wonder if there are any pictures of labor that we can find?”

My immediate reaction was a good one, I think – “Are you insane?” We are taking the childbirth classes in a little over a month, and I think it’s fine to put off that kind of terrifying mental image. But his curiosity got me curious, and hence, we found a wonderful NOVA special on the “miracle of birth.”

Miracle of GROSSNESS! (No offense, Lord!) What the craziness were we thinking, procreating? Ew, ew, ew! You sort of understand the women who say, “This baby has got to stay IN!”

Hey, on the upside, the nausea is subsiding. What a tradeoff! Nauseous because of the baby inside me or nauseous at the IDEA of the baby getting to the outside.
