Introducing, Coming Soon, Gavriel "Gavi" Zakai Fashbaugh

It's another, Fashbaugh Boy!

Amanda is due in mid-to-late September. If he's born on his due date, we'll have four birthdays in about a week's time for our family!!

You might be wondering what Zakai means. Zakai is Hebrew for "purity", and is a somewhat common Hebrew name from what we can tell. Caleb's middle name is Zakai too.

We believe strongly in naming our children with names that have important meanings so that whenever we speak their names, we are speaking a blessing over their lives. Whenever we call Caleb Zakai, we tell him "You are Bold and Pure". Whenever we call Gavi Zakai, we will be saying to him, "God is Your Strength and You are Pure!" Purity is important to us because we feel strongly that it is increasingly difficult to remain pure while growing up in today's society. Please join us in speaking these blessings over our children!
