Caleb's First Birthday

Our Baby Boy Turns 1 Year Old

It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since Caleb was born, and yet, it's hard to believe that he's only been part of our lives for a year (+9 months). He is part of our hearts in a way that only a parent can understand. We certainly had no idea that someone could be so special. He is so precious.

Guess what, Caleb! You're 1 year old! Caleb chose the morning of 10-25-2006 to take a header out of his crib, hence the mark on his forehead. He's such a big boy!		Mommy provided yummy snacks including assorted flavors of applesauce...

But mostly people just wanted to eat cookies and birthday cake.		Auntie Megan made the terrific duck cake, patterned after one of Caleb's favorite books about Quackers the duck.

		Lots of Caleb's friends and family members came to his party. The clubhouse was packed!

Auntie Alisa and her boyfriend Chris		Poor Auntie Alisa has a mean brother that likes to post weird pictures.

Terra and Kyle Dean Fisk		We had lots of fun balloons. All shapes, sizes, and colors. Jaxson and Caleb had great fun.

It was only fitting that Caleb spend his first birthday in his birthday suit - No, silly Daddy, it's time for birthday cake! Watch and sing Happy Birthday to Caleb		Caleb was very polite, taking small bites... Watch him dig in.

and thinking about sharing...		Oh, okay, I'll share with Daddy. I know that he likes sweet stuff.

Okay, no more sugar for you, Daddy.

Why are you looking at me that way, Daddy? Ya know, on second thought, why don't you have some more cake?		Yummy!

We had fun goodie bags for all the kids. Collin and Chance were goofy-toothed ganstas. Yeah, the pose was my idea.

Caleb was blessed with LOTS of presents, although he wasn't too keen on opening them. Watch the video.		`Atta Boy!
