Our Family Tree - The Fashbaughs

If you're a Fashbaugh, chances are, we have a similar family history.

Okay, well, this page doesn't actually have our family tree on it yet, but here's what I know at present about my family's genealogy. My name is Jonathan Fashbaugh, and my wife is Amanda Fashbaugh. Our family on my father's side comes from the Ohio area, but my extended living Fashbaugh relatives are in Michigan.

My grandfather, Elmer Fashbaugh, and grandmother, Esther Fashbaugh passed away some time ago. They lived in Montreal, Wisconsin. My uncle, Jack Fashbaugh, and his wife, Helen, live in a small town in Michigan. Their oldest son, my cousin, Martin Fashbaugh, teaches at Purdue University. Jack and Helen have three other children: Caitlin, Allan, and Mary.

My father, Earl Fashbaugh, and mother, Susan Fashbaugh, have a home in Barnum, Minnesota, where the othe half of my parents' family, the Monroes, live. My sister, Alisa Fashbaugh, lives in Aurora, Colorado, which is a suburb of Denver. She is an elementary school teacher. She is getting married in October 2007 to Chris Rothe.

My family on my wife's side, the Garmanes, came from Illinois. Our parents, Gene and Becky Garmane, live in Loveland, Colorado. My sister, Megan Garmane, lives in Westminster, Colorado. She is a highschool math teacher. Becky's family, the Sinleys, also live in Colorado. I'm a little fuzzy on the history there. We have many aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins on this side of the family, by the names of Sinley and Johnson.

Amanda and I were so blessed by the birth of our first son, Caleb Zakai Fashbaugh, and we just welcomed our second son, Gavriel "Gavi" Zakai Fashbaugh. We are pretty sure that Gavi won't be our last child. We just have so much love to offer!

If you want to do some catching up with us, or if you are (or aren't) mentioned on this page and have a webpage up where we can link to more information about you, please contact us by clicking here. Please also contact us if you are a fashbaugh and can offer some additional insight into our family history. Any info that you can email to us would be greatly appreciated.
