GivenLife.com Coming Along Nicely

Given Life is coming along very well. I very nearly missed the daily online prayer today, but made it in the end. I also wrote the first weekly message, which has been percolating in my heart for some time. I'm not yet sure what the next week's message will be.

Caleb is doing well. Amanda barely slept at all last night. She's drifting off now in the other room while I watch Caleb in the living room. These bouncey chairs are pretty sweet. Caleb is doing his darndest to stay awake and cranky, but the power of the vibration and nature sounds is taking its toll on his eyelids. Heh heh, mine too, for that matter.

It's funny. There's no doubt that Amanda's been hit harder by this life change, but it's definitely wearing on me too. In the gentle words of my boss, Dan Goldstein, "Just wait. This is nothing." We'll see. Sure, it's tough, but I love it. Caleb is such a wonderful little boy.
